Is RevealSprint really free?
Yes. RevealSprint is completely free online Planning Poker. There is no account to create, no paywall and no limit on rooms or participants.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. RevealSprint runs entirely in the browser. Just open the app, create a room and share the link — there is nothing to download and no account required.
What is Planning Poker?
Planning Poker is a consensus-based agile estimation technique. Team members estimate the effort of user stories using cards, then reveal simultaneously to avoid anchoring and to spark discussion that leads to a shared estimate.
What is the difference between Planning Poker and Scrum Poker?
They are the same thing. Planning Poker, Scrum Poker and Sprint Poker are different names for the same estimation game used by agile and Scrum teams.
Which cards does RevealSprint use?
RevealSprint uses the Fibonacci deck (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89), plus a ? card for uncertainty and a coffee card to ask for a break.
Does it work for remote teams?
Yes. RevealSprint is built for remote and hybrid teams. Share one link and everyone votes together in real time, wherever they are.
Why doesn't the host vote?
The host acts as facilitator and is kept neutral, so estimates come only from the people who will do the work. The host reveals cards and moves the session forward.
Where is my data stored?
Nowhere. Sessions are peer-to-peer over WebRTC and nothing is persisted. When everyone leaves the room, the session is gone.
