Free Online Planning Poker

Planning Poker is a common way for agile teams to estimate work, and RevealSprint runs it online for free. Create a room, share the link, and your team estimates user stories together in real time.

What is Planning Poker?

Planning Poker is a consensus-based estimation game used by Scrum and agile teams. Each member privately selects a card representing the effort of a user story, then everyone reveals at once. The simultaneous reveal prevents anchoring and turns differences of opinion into productive discussion. Cards usually follow the Fibonacci sequence because larger items are inherently more uncertain.

Why play Planning Poker online?

Online Planning Poker works for remote and hybrid teams. There are no physical cards to pass around, votes stay hidden until the reveal, and the average, median and consensus are computed for you. RevealSprint runs entirely in the browser with peer-to-peer sync, so there is nothing to install and no account to create.

How to run a Planning Poker session

Create a room as the facilitator, set the user story to estimate, and share the room link with your team. Everyone picks a Fibonacci card; when all votes are in, you reveal them together and read the stats. If the team disagrees, discuss the outliers and vote again until you reach consensus.
