Planning Poker is a consensus-based estimation game used by Scrum and agile teams. Each member privately selects a card representing the effort of a user story, then everyone reveals at once. The simultaneous reveal prevents anchoring and turns differences of opinion into productive discussion. Cards usually follow the Fibonacci sequence because larger items are inherently more uncertain.

How to run a Planning Poker session
Create a room as the host, set the user story to estimate, and share the room link or code with your team. Everyone picks a Fibonacci card; when all votes are in, reveal them together and read the stats. If the team disagrees, discuss the outliers and re-vote until you reach consensus.
